FAQ

Q

Many people say that it’s recommended to wash with water rather than using a cleanser for the vagina. Is it correct?

A

Women's sensitive areas are said to be the healthiest when they maintain an acidic pH level of 3.5 to 5.9. Water has a neutral pH level, so we recommend using sub-acidic products to maintain a healthy pH balance in the vagina. Our products are sub acidic and optimized for sensitive areas. (Skin irritation test results on all products was judged as ‘no irritation’)

Q

I think the amount of disposable containers is enough to re-use. Can I use them multiple times?

A

No, this product is for one-time use, containing the appropriate capacity for one dose (1.7g). Please do not share the gel due to hygiene reasons.

Q

Does the gel have a scent or taste?

A

It shows individual differences in the sense of taste. Except for very sensitive individuals people, most detect no taste.

Most products include lactic acid which, is our main ingredient, and it may taste a bit sour because of the characteristics of this ingredient. All of our products are developed and carefully selected with only good ingredients and no harmful fragrances.

Q

I use the Wettrust's personal lubricant for sexual activities. Although it is supposed to use 2~3 times per week, can we use it periodically or when we have sex?

A

We recommend using it regularly 2 or 3 times per week or anytime for those who experience vaginal discomfort (e.g. itching, irritation) mainly due to dryness, and it is also helpful for intercourse if used just before.

Please let me know should you have any questions.

Q

I am a virgin. Can I use your product?

A

We generally recommend our products for women who have experienced sexual intercourse.

That is because some women seriously take into account the maintenance of the hymen for different reasons.

But women who do not mind are using our products, including teenagers in Korea and Japan.

Sometimes, moms recommend using it to their daughters. I leave the choice to you.

Q

Can it be used on an STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) patient?

A

If someone has an STD, particularly vaginal related, there would need to be extra care taken. We consider any external contact to be harmful and to be avoided.

Q

Can it be used by pregnant women?

A

Clinical studies have not been performed to address this subject, so we suggest consulting a medical practitioner first and to abide by his or her recommendation.
